Love Letters

A series of mostly watercolor paintings dedicated to my husband.

For these I largely combined unrelated animals, plants and things to combine into symbolic object collages representing our relationship. The juxtaposition of geographies especially was important to me as our own relationship began with 5000 miles between us, which we shortened as quickly as we were able.
